Evaluation
ADVANTAGES
Artemis Class ships make up the largest contingent of most fleets and are used primarily as fodder to protect bigger and more expensive ships.
DISADVANTAGES
The Poseidon Class has Rapid Fire versus the Artemis Class and thus can easily eliminate them. Furthermore the weapons system of the Artemis Class has little or no effect against the highest level ships and defense.

An alternate version of the Artemis can be seen in the picture for the Raid A Crystal Mine mission. The design of the Artemis class and the Hieroglyphs on the right side of the hull may be based on the alien fighters from the original Stargate movie.
