Warp Gate

Warp gates can only be built on Moons. If you have more than one moon and a Warp Gate on each you can transport an entire fleet, but no resources, instantly from one to the other without using hydrogen (regardless of distance). Only the owner of the moon may use its Warp Gate, and constructing/owning only a single warp gate has no benefit, since a source and a destination warp gate are required to operate.

There is a sixty minute recharge time in between jumps, which limits the use of the Warp Gate to one fleet every hour. This cool down / recharge time is only needed for the two Warp Gates that were used (should the owner possess four or more Warp Gates, it would be possible to execute multiple jumps in one hour, as long as each used two previously un-used Gates).

Upgrading the warp gate does not have any effect (except for your points in statistics). There is no reduction in recharge time or any other benefit gained by upgrading a warp gate beyond level 1.

Once you have at least two moons with warp gates, select the moon that has the ships you wish to warp from and display the Fleets view. Select the second moon you want to warp to as the destination. Select the ships you want to warp. The Warp option should be added to the Mission types. Select Warp. Click Dispatch Fleet.

But remember you can't take resources with you, so if your fleet is transported make sure you have some hydrogen on your destination. If you need to send resources between the two warp gate moons, use a transport mission from moon to moon as Oracles cannot scan moons.

Construction Cost

Ore: 2,000,000
Crystal: 4,000,000
Hydrogen: 2,000,000

As the base build time is 2400:00:00, or exactly 100 days, the actual build time will equal the build-time reduction multiplier given by the Moon's Capitol level, in days.
