ADVANTAGES
The Gauss Cannon is a good defense against enemy ships, having the ability to occasionally destroy a Poseidon Class vessel in one hit.
DISADVANTAGES
The only real downside of the Gauss Cannon is that the mighty Zeus Class ship has Rapid Fire against it, while nothing has Rapid Fire against the Plasma Cannon.
