Newbie Protection

Newbie Protection in Starfleet prevents newer empires from being destroyed. The rules are as follows:

• NOTE: Build points are the same as resources spent points. They are not your ranking # next to your planet on the galaxy screen. Click "Leaders" and "Resources Spent" to view your build points.

1. Players under 100 build points cannot attack or be attacked by other players.
2. Players under 5,000 build points cannot attack or be attacked by other players who have more than 5 times their number of build points.
3. Players over 5,000 build points can attack or be attacked by anybody unless they are in Diplomacy Mode or Vacation Mode.

By the time a player hits 5,000 build points, they are expected to have learned how to fleet save and resource save.
