The Tiresias Tower allows you to scan a planet for details concerning any attacks traveling to or from the planet. Increase your Vessel Detection Technology to improve the reliability of the information you obtain. Each scan of a planet costs you 5,000 hydrogen. The Tiresias Tower requires Vessel Detection Tech (Level 1) to build.

  • The Tiresias Tower shows only attacks, group attacks, and returns from attacks and group attacks.
  • Unlike a probe, you do not receive a notification if a player uses the Tiresias Tower to scan your planet.
  • The Tiresias Tower reveals more information about the target the larger the gap in Vessel Detection Tech. Specifically:
  1. If your Vessel Detection Tech is below or equal to the target you scan you will see that there are tasks occurring involving the planet, but no specific details.
  2. If your Vessel Detection Tech is one level higher than the target you scan you will see the type of task occurring at the planet, but no other specific details.
  3. If your Vessel Detection Tech is two levels higher than the target you scan you will see all previous information plus the origin and target of the task, but no other specific details.
  4. If your Vessel Detection Tech is three levels higher than the target you scan you will see all previous information plus an estimated time for the completion of the task (+/- 5 minutes), but no other specific details.
  5. If your Vessel Detection Tech is four levels higher than the target you scan you will see all previous information plus the types of ships in the fleet (no ship count), but no other specific details.
  6. If your Vessel Detection Tech is five levels higher than the target you scan you will see all the specific details regarding the tasks.
