1. Crush our enemies.

3. Hear the lamentations of their women.

We play for honor and glory! The deeds we do here will go down forever in the history of the game!
Songs will be sung, and tales will be told! And with every fleet we decimate, the closer we come to immortality!

Alliance Constitution:

We are the Warriors of Modern Death. We will battle with honor. We will share our wisdom with those who need it, and listen to the advice of our peers when we need it. We shall support and defend our own. We are the makers of our own destiny and shall overcome all obstacles! We The Warriors of Modern Death do hereby swear to follow the laws of our alliance:

I. Players must understand that if they don't fleet save at all times and lose their ships they can not complain and other members of the alliance are not required to send retaliation strikes against their attackers.

II. Respect other players, do not use foul language or use the alliance as a threat. A member CAN claim the backing of the alliance to group defend (GD) or group attack (GA).

III. Battle with honour. Let attackers know if you are online. Likewise, if a player lets you know that they are online, recall the attack. If they know your coming, you're already wasting your time anyway. A player under attack, however, has the right to perform a ninja counter attack at their home world, including the right not to send an online message. A player doing this should know what they are doing and be proficient in the ninja defense they are planning.

IV. Players reserve the right to leave the alliance without retaliation unless they are proven spies during or after leaving the alliance.

V. All officer positions will be voted upon every three months, corresponding to the seasons. Spring: March-May, Summer: June-August, Autumn: September-November and Winter: December-February.

VI. Officers may be elected for unlimited terms, as long as they are elected by majority every three months.

VII. All major policies and decisions including war and Non-aggression Pacts (NAP's) will be voted on by the officers before taking effect.

VIII. Respect alliance NAP agreements.

IX. Fleet movements and other alliance information is not to be shared with other players outside the alliance.

X. All members will post agreement to the laws.

WOMD Alliance Ranks:

• Emperor: The leader of the alliance, votes on alliance policy, allows players in, removes players when needed, manages member ranks, sets long term and short term goals, creates thread topics and deletes old threads no longer used. Maximum in rank is one.

• King: Runs alliance when the Emperor is in vacation mode, allows players in, removes players when needed, sets long term goals, creates thread topics and deletes old threads no longer used. Makes suggestions on the officers topics and votes on alliance policy. Maximum in rank is two.

• Duke: Sets short term goals, creates new topics on forum. Makes suggestions on the officers topics and votes on alliance policy. Maximum in rank is two.

• Count: Makes suggestions on the officers topics and votes on alliance policy. Maximum in rank is two.

• Imperial Knight: The alliance elite, these players have 100,000 confirmed kills and 50,000 ships. Also any former Emperor will hold this rank as an honor unless inactive. No maximum limit in rank.

• Death Knight: A player who has worked to build 25,000 ships and has destroyed 5,000 enemy ships. No maximum limit in rank.

• Tyrant Knight: An experienced player who owns ten thousand ships and has 1,000 ship kills. Any former Council Member will hold this rank as an honor, unless they meet requirements for Death Knight or Imperial Knight, or are inactive. No maximum limit in rank

• Knight: A seasoned player who owns more than a thousand ships and has 100 ship kills under their belt. No maximum limit in rank.

• Squire: A developing player who is working to become a Knight. No maximum limit in rank.

• Page: Inactive members.

Extreme 1 History

• WOMD was formed in January 2012 by I am the Black Wizards AKA Bwiz. During the month of February, recruiting began. At the end of February, the first election cycle began.

• For the first term, during the spring of 2012, the alliance reached # 71 on the leader boards. At the end of the spring period, WOMD had 50 members. This is everyone's alliance, owned by no one player. All are welcome to share their thoughts.

• The second term was turbulent. Karath was voted Emperor, shortly there after Karath was forced to resign, and I am the Black Wizards was appointed the Emperor position.

• In the third term we saw a great reduction in numbers. We continuously held rank from # 45-49. The officer corps reduced its number from 7 to 5. For the Fourth Term we have elected Bwiz as Emperor., Karath as King, Takaun as Duke, Worldlord96 as Count and Mosquito as Count.

• The fourth, winter term saw a revival in zeal and strength throughout the alliance. A few new players were added during the early forth term and brought many us of us back to our roots. I am the Black Wizards decided to step down once again from the Imperial throne, and Karath stepped down from the council.

• The second year, fifth, spring term begins with Scorpio the Commander as Emperor, Bwiz as King, Worldlord96 as Duke, Prometheus of York and Titan Vo as Counts. Also Broken has returned to the Warriors of Modern Death as well.

• The Spring term we saw kept our revival in zeal and strength throughout the alliance. Several new players were added during the term and brought many us of us back to our roots. We also saw several commanders go inactive and their accounts deleted, much to our dismay.

• The Summer Term the Alliance entered the top 10, and finished the term ranked #8 overall. WOMD currently has 39 members, and it is my belief that we are destined to take the #1 spot on the leaders board.

Nova History

In March 2012, upon the opening of the Nova Universe, several players from WOMD extreme 1 started accounts in Nova. Emperor I am the Black Wizards aka The Smooth Criminal gave Kryptic Hawk permission to start WOMD in Nova. Most WOMD members from Extreme 1 joined the WOMD in Nova that month. Adm Cunningham won the first election and served as the first actual Emperor. Adm Cunningham, having served a term or so, stepped down in favor of Quintius Flamininus. Unfortunately, Quintius Flamininus was assassinated right after being elected Emperor and The Smooth Criminal took over after serving many months, The Smooth Criminal stepped down as Emperor. Kor was elected after this and so begins the second year.

Guns for Hire History

Scorpio the Commander has begun our idea in over here. We believe that every player is important and should have a voice. We also believe that every player should be able to play their own style. When elections begin, when we have 10-20 players, rank will not matter as much as activity within the alliance.
