ADVANTAGES
Pretty much a more powerful version of the Laser Cannon. Deals enough damage to destroy Artemis Class ships in one hit. See "Destroying" in Combat.
DISADVANTAGES
Costs 4 times as much as the Laser Cannon for only 2.5 times the weapon strength, and although the Prometheus Class does not, the Ares Class still has Rapid Fire against it.
