what are they anyway? all i know is they belong on moons. anyone with more info?

Can only the owner use the Gate? Or can you allow other users (alliance members, buddy list) to use it? Can you charge a fee like a tollbooth? -Captain Orca (kidding on the last one)

Can warp gates be used to cross galaxies? For example, if I have a jump gate at [4:133:2] and a jump gates at [3:289:9] can I link them? Is there a limit to the number of galaxies that can be jumped in this fashion? -Grynch (No limit to the distance between warp gates so yes, multiple galaxies not only works but is ideal) -jimmyjames

Is there a charge to use the jump gate, or are jumps free once the gates have been built? From what I hear, they don't cost anything to use, but you can only use them once an hour. -Grynch

Why are there no pictures of the warp gate? I always imagined it as the ones in Babylon 5.
