:6 attacks per day per planet. If you can find all 9 of their worlds, you can attack them 54 times per day. This is enforced by code now. I think it's impossible to actually bash someone in excess of what is allowed by the rules. --[[User:Rob|Rob]] 16:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Taking Over Planets

i attacked a planet where it was a simple win. according to the battle report they had no defenses or ships. why cant i take over this planet?

This is because you cannot take a planet over. All you can do is hammer on it and hope the person abandons the outpost.

Attacking

What gets hit first or how does the decoy work? If the attack all happens at the same time, what effectiveness is the decoy? Does the decoy take all hits or only random hits depending on the amount of targets?

all ships get a chance to fire in the round. What enemy a ship fires at is random. Thus the larger the number of defenses you have the less likely the decoy is to get hit. check out combat for more details.
Also, nothing gets rapid fire against a decoy or large decoy. If it gets hit, then the firing ship is done firing for that round. Also, the decoy/large decoy must be destroyed before the attacker can plunder. The attacker can kill everything else, but if they can't knock down the decoy, they can't plunder. --Rob 20:31, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Can anyone attack anyone? Meaning are you only allowed to attack up? If you can attack down is there a restriction on how far below your rank you are allowed to attack?

you can attack up and down as far as the Noob protection goes.

Bold textIs there a limit to how many people and/or a limit on how many ships can participate in a group attack?

Limit to ships and people in a group attack?

Is there a limit to either the number of people or the number of ships that can take place in a group attack? And if so what are the limits?

Bashing

I attacked 6 different planets of the same person in one day, and it no longer hilights attack even though the rank is fine. Is it 6 attacks to a person on the same day instead of 6 attacks to a planet?

6 attacks per day per planet. If you can find all 9 of their worlds, you can attack them 54 times per day. This is enforced by code now. I think it's impossible to actually bash someone in excess of what is allowed by the rules. --Rob 16:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
