Diplomacy Mode

Diplomacy Mode is a protection measure against attacks from other players that you can select or de-select for your whole account. In return for the protection, you are taxed 25% of all earnings (from mines, missions, etc.) while in Diplomacy Mode. Once you are over 50k resources spent points you are taxed 50% of all earnings. Once you are above 100k resources spent points you are taxed 75% of all earnings. For the balance of force, you won't be able to launch probes, missiles or attacks whilst in diplomacy mode. This mode is enabled and disabled with a 24 hour delay using the Options page that is reachable via the lower menu. While turning Diplomacy Mode on, you will be unable to send out attacks or espionages during the 24 hour period, but will be available for others to attack or espionage. Your units will defend you as normal.

If you have an emergency and need immediate protection from future attacks, vacation mode may be a better option.
