Evaluation

Advantages

  • The Dionysus Class ship is used to harvest the Debris Fields that form in the vicinity of a planet after one or more ships have been destroyed.

Disadvantages

  • It is very slow and useless in combat.

Notes

  • The Dionysus' harvesting capacity is limited to its own internal cargo space. This cannot be augmented by adding cargo vessels to the harvesting fleet. If you want to harvest more debris, you need to send more Dionysus ships.
  • A Dionysus cannot salvage the debris created by a battle in which the Dionysus takes part. If you are expecting your battle fleet to create some debris you want to harvest, then you must follow up with a second fleet of Dionysus to harvest the debris field created by the first fleet.
  • When harvesting a debris field around a planet, the harvesting fleet will not engage any defending fleets in battle, regardless of the size of the defending fleet or the presence of defenses on the planet.
