A deploy mission is used to station a ship to a different planet in your empire. Deployed ships can carry resources the same way as ships in a transport mission, but unlike a transport they do not automatically return to their homeworld after they arrive at the new planet. Instead they stay there until ordered to move.

A player can only dispatch a deploy mission to their own planets.

To deploy crew or workers, you must use a Charon Class Transport.
