Q. How do i get more fleets?
A. Research AI Tech to gain more fleet slots, or rent the Admiral

Q. Why do I keep getting my ass handed to me?

Q. Is the Gaia consumed each time you create a colony?
A. Yes see Gaia Class for more info.

Q. How can I run more missions/attacks at the same time?
A. you can run a number of missions or attacks equal to max fleets. See above for how to get more fleets.

Q. How does the interaction with by "buddies" or recruits work?

Q. While in Deplomency mode, can you still colonize other planets?
