The Tau'ri is an alliance that is first and foremost interested in peace. We would rather make friends than enemies, but if peace is not an option our members will band together and fight by any means necessary.
We aim to grow each and every member equally, giving advice on how to proceed when the options seem endless and are always looking for players of any rank to join and grow with us.
Those who bully our members will not be looked upon with kind eyes, and we'll do everything in our power to eradicate them from our, and our allies space.
Introduction
This alliance was created by two Stargate fans and hence chose the name Tau'ri. Considering that all of our members will be from Earth, and the fact that we'll be encountering many foreign civilizations and alliances, we thought the name fitting
What does Tau'ri mean?
Tau'ri is a term used by inhabitants of the Milky Way to refer to Earth and human beings from Earth in the science fiction series Stargate. The word means "first ones" in Goa'uld in the sense that human life began on Earth. While it originally applied to all human beings in the Milky Way, the term has come to apply specifically to the humans who were born on Earth, as the Stargate Program progressed and began to inflict more and more serious blows to the Goa'uld Empire1.
Members
The Tau'ri Alliance is currently accepting mature players of all rank in all galaxies, regardless of experience. Anyone who wishes to be a contributing member and aide this alliance grow is welcome to join.
We show new players:
- How to play
- How to avoid being annihilated
- How to progress successfully and profitably
We have a highly active alliance message board where all questions fielded are answered without snide remarks or criticism.
