::Also, nothing gets rapid fire against a decoy or large decoy. If it gets hit, then the firing ship is done firing for that round. Also, the decoy/large decoy must be destroyed before the attacker can plunder. Taking Over Planets

i attacked a planet where it was a simple win. according to the battle report they had no defenses or ships. why cant i take over this planet?

This is because you cannot take a planet over. All you can do is hammer on it and hope the person abandons the outpost.

all ships get a chance to fire in the round. What enemy a ship fires at is random. Thus the larger the number of defenses you have the less likely the decoy is to get hit. check out combat for more details.
Also, nothing gets rapid fire against a decoy or large decoy. If it gets hit, then the firing ship is done firing for that round. Also, the decoy/large decoy must be destroyed before the attacker can plunder. The attacker can kill everything else, but if they can't knock down the decoy, they can't plunder. --Rob 20:31, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
