Diplomacy Mode
To enter or leave diplomacy mode, use the options link in the trailer bar at the bottom of any of the SF Commander screens. Note, the following information comes from that screen:
Information
In Diplomacy Mode, you cannot attack or espionage other players and other players cannot attack or espionage you. You also may not transport resources to or receive them from other players. In return for the protection, you are taxed a percentage of all earnings (from mines, missions, etc.) while in Diplomacy Mode. The percentage is based on your Resources Spent points (which are found by viewing the leader board).
Resource Spent | Tax |
0-49,999 | 25% |
50,000-99,999 | 50% |
100,000+ | 75% |
Turning Diplomacy Mode on or off takes 24 hours. While turning Diplomacy on, you will be unable to send out attacks or espionages during the 24 hour period, but will be available for others to attack or espionage. Your units will defend you as normal.
There is no time limit on Diplomacy Mode, however becoming inactive (i.e. not logging in for 7 days) will turn Diplomacy Mode off and make you available for attack from anyone.
Caveats
Becoming inactive does not turn Diplomacy Mode off. It nullifies it until you become active again, at which point you are placed back in diplomacy mode.
