Bashing would be the term used if aa single player attacked he same planet more than 6 times in a 24 hour period.

It prevented by the rules of the game unless the alliances each player belongs to are at war, and as such is not actually possible to "Bash" another player.

Espionage missions which are intercepted, resulting in all probes being destroyed, do not count toward the bashing limit (even though the probe owner's Home screen does refer to this as an attack).

While this is a sensible rule when considering "active" members, preventing bully type repeat attacked, it does seen pointless if the planet under attack is owned by an inactive player. The inactive player clearly "does not care" if they get attacked, as if they did they would not have gone inactive.
