The DNA and molecular structure of Ceti Alphans are approximately .125% different than that of standard humans, therefore inter-species breeding is possible & not unheard of due to the Ceti Alphans lack of xenophobia and acceptance of all other species in the Universe. After the 1st assault by an malevolent empire 4,500 years ago almost demolished the C`tAph`i home-world, the Ceti Alphans banded together with other allied worlds to form the Commonwealth of Independant Planets. They came from Earth that was overcrowding and war were strife on the planet and corrupt politicians and mad men made it unsafe. The Areithons could not stand to see their fellow brethren blood spilt anymore and so departed leaving the chaos they had once called home; hoping for a fresh start and to find a new planet to call home. It was a long journey but they were well prepared and resourced when they arrived at their destination they found that there was little land to colonize on. This was due to the fact that this was a water world. There was talks of looking for another planet, but this was where they had landed and they would make a life here. They created a small colonies on the strips of land dotted about and continued to gather resources. Once done, they created vast cities and sunk them to the bottom of the ocean; erecting force fields around them to keep them safe. They had not only the protection of the force fields but that of the water itself to shield them from prying eyes. Many years passed, and as it did, so did the people. Their skin pigment changed to have a slight grayish tinge to it and they grew gills behind their ears so they could swim freely in the deep blue depths. With the passing of time, and their numbers growing, they built and continued to build until most of the sea floor was covered in cities and outposts. Their government and military forces agreed that they should look to go back into space to seek out life for trade and friendship; and so they started a new militarized space program and began to explore the galaxies. Although still relatively new to space, they prospered and met other species from different planets. It is around this time that they came into contact with the COIP alliance and were offered membership and protection from others not so peaceful. They continued to prosper in the alliance growing in the ranks and so they currently stand on the high council able to cast a vote and important enough to hear major developments that go on inside the High Council chambers. On their search and exploration of their SS they pretty soon found that life was not so rear as they thought, other civilizations where already established in their SS. Establishment of the two colonies Tellus and Krongmine gave Commander Harjawalder the necessary resources to expand further out in the galaxy. In two close neighboring SS, the colonies, Oramine and Luramine was established to give the home-planet Krongworld more strength to build up a thriving civilization. The expansion was duly noted by one of the most prosperous Alliances in the universe. Sector Commander Caesar Romana for the G80's, of Commonwealth of Independent Planets took the initiative to settle contact with Krongworld and their leaders. And after rounds of diplomacy, Krongworld decided to become a part of the COIP alliance. After all, there are strength in numbers!! The driving Commander Harjawalder said to himself that COIP would make notice of Krongworld, the alliance was quite old, 4,500 years, but needed to expand to "fill" it's name. Commonwealth of Independent Planets, in this name there are room for everybody. So he started to make contact with surrounding civilizations and soon the alliance have doubled their numbers. And most of the new members was from his region !!, and this effort made his name, he was promoted to Sector Co-Commander along with Sector Commander Ceasar Romana.
