Robert Cameron was the name of a Scottish Priest who more or less told both sides of the protestant vs catholic infighting that preists were not required for the common man to reach god, merely helpful... needless to say that went over very well...

The Camerons were also a family in the BattleTech Universe that controlled the largest house in the innersphere... they were betrayed by one of their supposed friends... and the survivors of their military ran to the peripphery, and returned to make the lives of the betrayers descendants quite interesting... in the chinease sense...
