We?.. why you say WE... if you are alone? Alone in alliance of ONE man?

Response: I think I stated my reasons for playing alone rather succinctly, so you will excuse me if I do not repeat them.

As far as my choice of subjective personal pronoun, its called an "editorial we", although you do have a point. The editorial we is used when a writer or editor presumes to speak in the plural to imply that he speaks for a group or an institution (such as a website or a newspaper). I had assumed there were others of my cant, but I have not seen them. I had rather hoped that such others would follow my path, deny John Donne, and declare themselves self-sufficient by joining my self-reliant alliance. - Tighthead
