Jump to navigationJump to searchI would love to know if increasing FTL levels increases your speed of your Warp Powered ships. I noticed I have a Prometheus which has a base speed of 5000 and requires Warp 6. I have Warp 7 which should increase the speed by 30%. My current speed is 15,500 and I wonder if the extra speed is due to the higher FTL Level?
No, FTL tech is only used for unlocking new techs like Warp Drive and ARCNet. Increasing Warp Drive level will give the speed boost.
Q: How long is the base time-to-complete level for each tech? I realize this can be decreased by random factors (# droids, etc.) but the base level should be available information. --24.250.253.251 07:05, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
