Basically, the name of "Asgalleans" are from my own-made novels, Sword of EDEN series. The novel are started from 2007 and still continue to develop up until now...
The name Asgalleans is mainly derived from Diablo 2 of Asgale, and since then evolved through several analysis and experience of playing Homeworld, Homeworld Cataclysm, and lastly Homeworld 2. At first, "Asgallans" are the fittest name for an empire name. However, this name didn't include any modernizations like in Homeworld Cataclysm and Homeworld 2, like Kadeshi and Kiith, the Kadeshians and the Kiithids. One day, I've mistyped the name 'Asgallans' as 'Asgalleans', and since then, I've begun to use "Asgalleans", instead of "Asgallans"...
Mainly based on the novel series, Asgalleans lived on homeworld "Elxandra", of system Thorandar in THOR dimension. They, in a sense of way, is a well-balanced empire. None of their ships are either powerful nor weak, as most of their ships are balanced in both offense and defense. What makes up for offense, has weaker defense, and vice-versa. The designs of the the Asgalleans ships are mostly taken from Homeworld 2's Progenitor ships. Asgalleans' ships are mostly white-colored...
As for ships, I've regarded the Artemis Fighter as Anvil Fighter, Appolo Fighter as Osprey Bomber, Poseidon Cruiser as Arviory Frigate, Athena Battleship as Bellatrix Destroyer, Prometheus Destroyer as Sovereign Battleship, and Hephaestus Attack Platform as Excelsior Flagship...
In THOR dimension, Asgalleans are the main populace of the Homeworld "Elxandra". Their purpose is all but only one... establishing powerful trading partners in all universe and also becoming the "truest" PACIFIST race in the known universe. But having such a degree could not be achieved alone. In order for a larger ambition, the Asgalleans must take part in the universe as a deterrent force, as well as increasing trade partnership with other members. This is achieved by their method, 'slow, but steady...'.

Asgallean Excelsior, or rather known as Asgalleans...
We are a definitive empire, driven for the greatest empire of PACIFIST races united in under one alliance. Of course, this is also established with the highest level of diplomacy and every solutions WiTHOUT any conflict taking place...
We also interested in protecting newbies and sending our most specialized Resource Expeditions for those who are in need of various resources. This is achieved by having the center of operation on planet Elxandra, at co-ordinate 2:401:4.
Newbies are particularly special for these terms. Newbies [newbs] are our utmost importance. As Pacifists, we are greatly concerned for those who are in need of protection and resources. When one of the members are inneed of something, ranging from resources or defensive protections, we can send in some of our fleets to protect them...
Setting up a PAciFiST empire is actually a pretty difficult objective. Altough space is also a calm place, it is also not very secure from entities called danger. And in doing so, we are prepared this Council to do the most needed to be done. These are set of "missions", which are then based by priorities, set from "Priority Class-A" as the most important, downwards as bottomless as possible...
