Alliance Tag: Kobol
Genre: Battlestar Galactica

Introduction to the Colonial World

Colonial seal.jpg Galactica seal.jpg

The Twelve Colonies of Kobol is an alliance created mainly by fans of Battlestar Galactica, a tv series created by Ronald D. Moore and David Eick aired between 2003 and 2009. Some of our members are also fans of the original series of 1978, but not all our members are even BSG fans.

Colonials, as we use to call us, focus on group operations and collective security. We are indeed not a peaceful alliance, but we manage our attacks to avoid to provoque large scale wars and are thus more defensive than offensive. We have a clear and well coordinated attack policy and we developped a library and a Colonial FAQ to help our members to learn to grow better and quicker.

History

Caprica City.jpg

In the past, our alliance has been in the top 12 ranking of the universe. One of our very epic moment, as a Battlestar Galactica alliance, has been the Cylon War, in October 2009, a weapons free period against the Cylons, our traditionnal enemies, that resulted in a clear victory. After less than one week of war, they begged us for peace, they airlocked their leader and from this day, they carefully respected the Armistice we generously offered to them. We also fought hard and won a weapons free period against Spaceball, that were a quite offensive alliance in past November and December.

Since those times, we have more focussed in small scale operations and collective defense of our more important areas.

Recruitement

Even though we are not at capacity, we neither want to become a too big alliance and hard to coordinate. Therefore, we are kind of selective about applications to the alliance.

To gain admission to our alliance, you must fit our membership criteria : applicants must meet at least one of our rank requirements. Depending of those requirements, we may accept applicants until the 40,000th rank.

So if you think you could fit one of our requirements for membership and are interested to apply, please write an application message that give us the opportunity to evaluate your application.

So say we all !

Hall of Remembrance

Just as in the Galactica, there is a place to remember our deads, players that for some reason abandoned the game. It is the place to remember the members of our alliance that distinguished themselves and that are no longer with us.

IN MEMORIAM

Narmuriel

A distinguished officer and Cylon War Veteran. He played a major roll in coordinating group attacks during the Cylon War and also created a task group for attack and defense experiments called the Bucanneers. He was also the Secretary of Education and gave a big hand to the newbies so they get quickly the knowledge to integrate the Colonial World efficiently.

This Colonial member deserve that we pay him a great tribute and show him our eternal respect. Offrends to the Gods are welcome. May the Gods be his companions on the other side of the Styx River.

So say we all.

Haywen (the name written in chinese characters)

Once, I mean until december 2009, he was still the man with the buck, the best striker of our alliance (higher ranked for destroyed ships), better than any officer, until new high ranked members were accepted in our ranks. He was a quiet member, one of those who talk with his cannons. His contribution to retaliation operations and his participation in our weapons free periods (our little wars) is big. It's why I ask you to remember our brother in arms that disappeared. May the Gods accompany him crossing the Styx.

So say we all. ________________________________

Trent Good

A Cylon War veteran that distinguished himself in the early existence of GNC.

He was just a nuggets, but courageously with his small fleet, he group attacked along with other players against the fracking skin obs of G13. May the Lords of Kobol and the Gods help him to cross the Styx River at ease as he contributed to the glorious victory against the Cylons.
