Is level 40 the maximum level? or can you go higher? Either way I think this should be explicitly noted.

- Does it really matter? by my calculations, with no miners for bonus, it would take 995 days to pay for itself, and even with a full complement of 4% miners it still would take 642 days to pay for itself so I can't see it being too popular. And that's not including the cost of crystal or the cost of power.

Could someone explain the production value equation?

It is given as " floor(30∙X∙1.1X) "

First of all, WHAT is "floor" and secondly, when I punch in a level I get numbers that are way higher than the values in the chart. For example level 20 is:

floor(30∙20∙(1.1*20))

equals "floor(13,200)"

the chart gives a value of 4036. So, "Floor" would have to be < .32 something, to bring it down to the value in the chart. All of the values given other than level 1 are WAY OFF from what I am actually seeing in the game.

The ACTUAL production values I am getting are FAR FAR Lower than the equation *or* the chart. Here is one example of my Ore mines

Colony A, Level 22 Mine with 8 mine droids, my production is 934. Chart says I should have 5,372 and the formula says 13,200 (times 'floor' whatever that is)

Should the calculations be built more around marginal ore production? I.e., expanding from a level 9 to level 10 mine increases your production by 163. It will take 21 hours for that increase in production to pay for itself.

another thing missing from this page, and probably the other resource pages is efficiency at different levels of output. from my experiments, efficiency goes up as production goes down, eg, at level 13, an ore mine puts out 1,366 ore for 449 energy an energy use ratio of 3.042, but at 10%, it makes 154 ore for 44 energy, that's 3.5 ore for every energy used. it might be best to make the mines as big as possible and cut back to your needs for efficiency and power saving. as an added bonus, if you need more production quickly, you can just turn your mines up at the cost of efficiency for rapid production. I'll add the calculations once I've worked them out.
