I was wondering, if you abandon a planet, and then recolonize it, will the number of fields be regenerated from scratch, or will it always be the same size in that location? --[[Special:Contributions/75.48.229.41|75.48.229.41]] 00:20, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

:Planet size is randomly determined at the time of colonization. If you abandon it and try again, you will (almost certainly) get a different number of fields. It's ''possible'' you could get the same random result, but unlikely. --[[User:Rob|Rob]] 21:32, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

How is abandoning a planet accomplished? There dont appear to be any directions in the associated pages, and i dont see any "abandon planet" icons or buttons. i would like to try rerolling the numbers on a planet that only has 72 fields, before i start building on it.
