Alliance Name: Sto-Vo-Kor
Alliance Tag: [SVK]
Genre: Star Trek

Sto-Vo-Kor [SVK] is an alliance currently lead by Aga Memnon for former members of the Klingon Black Fleet that are unhappy with the recent scandal around unapologetic cheating by several members in leadership positions of KBF. In an attempt to play the game fairly and with honour, Sto-Vo-Kor was created as the new home of the Black Fleet.

Anyone may join, and there is a Council of Officers that vote on important issues to ensure that there is no monarch in charge of the alliance at any given time.

Sto-Vo-Kor Alliance

The Way of the Warrior

Klingons who follow the Way of the Warrior, the belief system developed by Kahless the Unforgettable, value honor above all else. Warriors who die an honorable death are said to join Kahless, the first Klingon Emperor, in the Black Fleet in Sto-Vo-Kor, a paradise where battle and feasting can eternally be shared and won. They can even command a Black Fleet Ship in which they endlessly wage glorious combat, against worthy foes who have also entered the ranks of the dead.

Guidelines

Some general guidelines on a code of conduct following the Way of the Warrior as prescribed by Kahless the Unforgettable in later seasons of Star Trek.

  • Peace is acceptable to the Klingon Empire. NAPs will be honored and so will ceasefires. Warriors breaking either will be expected to make reparations to restore their honor.
  • Members cannot put unofficial NAPs in place at an alliance level. There is no way of tracking it. Members can however recommend a particular alliance and it will be investigated by the Officers and I and voted upon if the other side is willing.
  • If attacking a player, don't pound them into the ground. Hit them once and if they contact you asking you to stop, consider honoring the request. Help them back to their feet. You can make a friend this way and friends are better than enemies (trust me).
  • If you've already hit their fleet, consider not farming them to allow them to get onto their feet again. Seek honor in combat.
  • Respond not with nasty words to an enemy or a member of the alliance. Try rising above it and taking the moral high ground and reasoning with them. If that doesn't work out, ignore them. No need to be a jerk to jerks!
  • Farming inactives is fine!
  • Attacking "active players" that have left their fleets at a planet is fine, since their warships shoot back it is indeed honorable conduct!

These are all just guidelines and we are open to adding other ones here. They are not mandatory except the way we will coordinate NAPs at an alliance level.

Our NAPs

We value Non-Aggression Pacts and honor them in perpetuity. The terms of our NAPs are as follows:

1. No member of either alliance shall probe or attack an active member of the other alliance. Inactives are fair game. Resources acquired from an inactive player will not be repaid if that player later becomes active.

2. This Agreement does NOT require any member of SVK to defend any member of the other alliance or vice-versa. This agreement is NOT a Mutual Defense Pact. Any defense offered to the other alliance is wholly and totally an individual decision by that member.

3. This Agreement prohibits members of either alliance from participating with their allies in a group attack upon members of either alliance. Any violation of this clause will constitute a violation of Clause 4.

4. All members of each alliance in this agreement shall abide by this Non-Aggression Pact or face expulsion from their alliance. The failure of the alliance leadership to expel a member who knowingly violates this agreement will render this agreement void. An attempt can be made by the Aggressor to make 125% reparations (of the losses) and formally apologize to the attacked as well as the Leader of both alliances in an attempt to show remorse. This addresses the potential for people to be unaware that a NAP existed.

5. All members of both alliances agree to the rules (written or implied) of Starfleet Commander by Blue Frog Gaming and shall not use loopholes in the rules to excuse dishonorable conduct. Any member of either alliance who becomes aware, or is aware, of any rules violations by any player in the game will immediately inform their alliance leadership and Blue Frog Gaming via a support ticket. The alliance leader or his/her designee will inform the other alliance leadership of the rules violation.

6. This agreement will continue in force in perpetuity. Both parties agree that no hostile action will be taken by either party upon the other without 24 hours written notice to the leadership of the other alliance of the intent to revoke this agreement.
