Resource saving is the act of saving resources so that a raiding fleet will not steal them from you. There are a couple common ways to go about this:
- Deploy the resources to another planet using cargo. Recall the fleet before it reaches the target planet, or else it will dump all the resources it was carrying on an empty planet. Using a planet you have colonized eliminates the need for this.
