Mines are your basic resource production units in Starfleet Commander. You start off by building them, and then they pay you a certain amount of resources per hour. You can get more resources by leveling them up, or by assigning workers to them.


Ore Mine

The ore mine is the first that most Commanders will build. Ore is the most plentiful resource in the game, and the one you'll use to build most of your buildings and ships. The following tables shows rough costs, production, and energy consumption for each level.

Solar Plant

The power plant produces the electricity that powers your mines. Electricity in Starfleet Commander is persistent, you don't gain it hourly and you don't use it up to build things like you do other resources.
