The Lunar Dock can be constructed on your moon. Once constructed, a Lunar Dock will allow you to undeploy your Hephaestus Class Attack Platform so it orbits around a moon.
If you dock a Hephaestus Class Attack Platform at a Lunar Dock, any ships and resources currently being carried by the Hephaestus will be lost. This is the expected behavior of docking a Hephaestus ship at a Lunar Dock, not a bug in the game.
Currently, building the Lunar Dock to a level beyond 1 does not increase the functionality of the Dock. It will just count for Resource Spent Points.
