A galaxy is a cluster of solar systems. In Starfleet Commander, a universe is divided into galaxies, solar systems, and planets. There are currently 45 known galaxies in the Facebook universe; however, the universe is constantly expanding. Each galaxy has 499 solar systems.

Coordinates

All locations within the universe have an unique numerical identifer. The coordinates of a planet identify its order in a galaxy and solar system and is in the following format: [Galaxy Number]:[Solar System Number]:[Planet Number]. For example, the coordinates of the seventh planet in the eighth solar system in the fourth galaxy are 4:8:7.
