Counterespionage is the possibility that your Hermes Class Probe will be intercepted by the enemy and destroyed after being able to relay back the relevant espionage data.

This is a percent chance based upon 3 factors:

  1. The number of probes sent in the espionage fleet.
  2. The difference between the attackers espionage tech level and the defender's level.
  3. The amount of ships and defense that the defender has at the planet.
