CIGSS Policies

We are a tight-knit group who maintain frequent communication, and we look out for, protect, and even avenge our own. Below are some general policies that help our alliance function as efficiently as it does.

Attacks: Attacks can be launched by any member against any opponent at that member's discretion, so long as a NAP is not broken by that attack. Group attacks are typically planned ahead of time on the alliance message boards, but can be requested at any time, by any member.

Defending: Group defenses are encouraged, and can be requested via the alliance message board. Post the name and coordinates of the planet being attacked, as well as number and type of ships attacking, and time of arrival in the proper galaxy thread (eg. a planet in galaxy 8 would be under the Galaxy 8 thread). Any member who is able to assist will try to do so.

Message Boards: The alliance has a strict No Profanity policy. Communication between members is encouraged, and is made easy by the alliance message boards, and members are encouraged to share their thoughts, concerns, plans, etc., as long as no profanity is used. Should a member feel strongly enough to want to use profanity, please use a creative word in its place (eg. instead of the f-bomb, use "fudge" instead; instead of "s**t", use "crap"; etc...).

Other Players: Everyone gets frustrated at times, but insulting a player that attacks you will not help a situation. Be polite to other players, even if they have attacked you. After all, this is still just a game, and to keep it fun for everyone, please do not send hurtful or insulting messages to other players.
