From Starfleet Commander
A planet is is a celestial body orbiting a star. In Starfleet Commander, the Universe is divided into galaxies, solar systems, and planets. Each planet allows a user to build mines, buildings, defenses, and all of the other implements of warfare.
A player can have up to 9 planets by establishing colonies.
Each planet has a specified number of Fields available for development.
