Talk:Group Attack
the source of the following passage is an alliance field test:
"When the attack organizer recalls, the invitees will still attack. The attack simply changes from a group attack to a normal one. This guarantees that return times of the invitees will not be tampered with by a formation leader. Also, since the formation leader isn't 'locked in', he can recall to defend his base with out canceling the other players' attacks."
Group attack question.
person A attacks with slow ship, ex: hercules - attack time 2:00 hrs person B joins attack with fast ships, ex: posiedon - attack time 1:20 hrs
as a group attack, it lands in 2:00 hrs.
Q: If person A withdraws, does the attack time decrease?
A: No, the attack time is not recalculated if a fleet is recalled.
Alice attacks with Weapons Armor Shield tech = 4.
Bob joins the attack and has Weapons Armor Shield tech = 12.
Q: Who's tech is used in the battle calculation? Somebody said only the leader's tech matters, true?
This note should probably be added to the entry itself -- I'll state what I believe the answer to be, but it should be verified Q: If you joint attack with yourself, do the different fleets return to their respective planets? A: I believe this is not the case -- the entire fleet will return to the initiating planet That appeared to happen to me the one time I did that. I also don't know what happens if you play with the deployment sources -- what happens if A initiates the attack, and "B" joins in from both planet 1 and planet 2. Or if A initiates the attack from p1, joins with himself from p2, and B joins in the attack. And so forth. There are several possible combinations which should be investigated. All fleet members return to their own respective places, of course --24.250.253.251 14:20, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
