CIGSS Policies

Attacking: Attacks can be launched by any member against any opponent at that member's discretion, so long as a NAP is not broken by that attack. Group attacks are typically planned ahead of time on the alliance message boards, but can be requested at any time, by any member. Also, please do NOT attack other CIGSS members unless they either 1) have given you permission, or 2) are inactive. Please see "Inactive Members" below for more details on attacking inactive alliance members.

Buddies: Having buddies that are not in the alliance is encouraged, as it can be a great way to make new friends, as well as provide additional allies to join in group attacks or group defends.

Defending: Group defenses are encouraged, and can be requested via the alliance message board by posting the coordinates of the planet being attacked, as well as number and type of ships attacking, and time of arrival in the proper galaxy thread (eg. a planet in galaxy 8 would be under the Galaxy 8 thread). Any member who is able to assist will try to do so. Example: Being attacked at [8:64:11], 200 Hades, 100 Ares, 100 Proms, 100 Hercs. Lands in about 35 minutes. Can anyone get there before then?

Inactive Members: If a member goes inactive, they will quickly become a farm for anyone in the area. We feel it to be better to keep resources in the alliance, so attacking inactive members is allowed. However, should a member become active again, recall any attack going against them, and offer to refund at least some of the resources plundered.

Membership: Any player who is interested in joining the CIGSS may do so by searching "CIGSS" under the Alliance page in the game, and clicking on "Apply". All are welcome and encouraged to join.

Message Boards: The alliance has a strict No Profanity policy, in accordance with the game's Rules. Communication between members is encouraged, and is made easy by the alliance message boards, and members are encouraged to share their thoughts, concerns, plans, etc. requests for help, such as asking for resources or a group defend can also be made on the message boards.

Other Players: To keep the game fun for everyone, we ask that members are polite to other players, also in accordance with the game's rules (see link above). Even if a player has attacked you or an alliance member, we ask you to not send hurtful or insulting messages to other players.

Vacation Mode: We know that 1) real life must take priority over the game, and 2) things come up that keep us from being on. If you're going to be away for a while, enter Vacation Mode, and we'll see you when you get back.
