Counterespionage is the possibility that your Hermes Class Probe will be intercepted by the enemy and destroyed after being able to relay back the relevant espionage data.
This is a percent chance based upon 3 factors:
- The number of probes sent in the espionage fleet.
- The difference between the attackers espionage tech level and the defender's level.
- The amount of ships and defense that the defender has at the planet.
