Background
The "Doom Beaver" is a failed addition to the game suggested by His Awesomeness on October 31st 2009. It would have acted like a ship with the capabilities to "Nudge" enemy planets out of orbit. Actually obtaining the Doom Beaver would have been impossible due to the high costs. Creating it required 700 billion human workers. It was never intended to be hard coded into the game and instead only act as a tantalizing impossibility. Its only reference ingame would have been as a ship description in technologies. The original suggestion is listed below. Worship of the Doom Beaver is currently the only SFC religion. This along with other utterly brilliant suggestions by His Awesomeness helped lead to the creation of the Off Topic Section on the SFC Message Board.
