Sto-Vo-Kor (SVK)
Alliance Name: Sto-Vo-Kor | ||
Alliance Tag: [SVK] | ||
Genre: Star Trek |
Sto-Vo-Kor [SVK] is an alliance currently lead by Aga Memnon for former members of the Klingon Black Fleet that are unhappy with the recent scandal around unapologetic cheating by several members in leadership positions of KBF. Anyone may join, and there is a Council of Officers that vote on important issues to ensure that there is no monarch in charge of the alliance at any given time.
The Way of the Warrior
Klingons who follow the Way of the Warrior, the belief system developed by Kahless the Unforgettable, value honor above all else. Warriors who die an honorable death are said to join Kahless, the first Klingon Emperor, in the Black Fleet in Sto-Vo-Kor, a paradise where battle and feasting can eternally be shared and won. They can even command a Black Fleet Ship in which they endlessly wage glorious combat, against worthy foes who have also entered the ranks of the dead.
Guidelines
Some general guidelines on a code of conduct following the Way of the Warrior as prescribed by Kahless the Unforgettable in later seasons of Star Trek.
- Peace is acceptable to the Klingon Empire. NAPs will be honoured and so will ceasefires. Warriors breaking either will be expected to make reparations to restore their honour.
- Members cannot put unofficial NAPs in place at an alliance level. There is no way of tracking it. Members can however recommend a particular alliance and it will be investigated by the Officers and I and voted upon if the other side is willing.
- If attacking a player, don't pound them into the ground. Hit them once and if they contact you asking you to stop, consider honouring the request. Help them back to their feet. You can make a friend this way and friends are better than enemies (trust me).
- If you've already hit their fleet, consider not farming them to allow them to get onto their feet again. Seek honour in combat.
- Respond not with nasty words to an enemy or a member of the alliance. Try rising above it and taking the moral high ground and reasoning with them. If that doesn't work out, ignore them. No need to be a jerk to jerks!
- Farming inactives is fine!
- Attacking "active players" that have left their fleets at a planet is fine, since their warships shoot back it is indeed honourable conduct!
These are all just guidelines and we are open to adding other ones here. They are not mandatory except the way we will coordinate NAPs at an alliance level.
