Newbie Protection

Newbie Protection in Starfleet prevents newer empires from being destroyed, but doesn't apply for any inactive players. The rules are as follows:

1. Players with less than 5.000.000 Resources Spent (5,000 Resources Spent Points [also known as Build Points]) cannot attack or be attacked by other players who have more than 5 times their Resources Spent.
2. Players under 100.000 Resources Spent (i.e. 100 [Points#Resources_Spent_Points|Resources Spent Points]] cannot attack or be attacked.

By the time a player hits 5,000 Resources Spent Points, they should know how to fleet save and resource save.
